Coach Charley Washburn wins NFAA Indoor Nationals & sets a new National Record

Head Coach Charley Washburn shot a new national record to win the Master Senior Male Barebow division at the NFAA Indoor Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky at the end of March. Click here for full results

 

California State Indoor Championships January 2007

Congratulations to Colin Winter & Christopher Zumwalt who both won their divisions in the 2007 State Indoor Championships in Tulare.  Colin also set two new State Indoor records in the Male Junior Recurve division. Click here for State Indoor Results

JOAD Nationals held in Orlando Florida June 2005

Trelaina Borges becomes the first national champion from the Gold Team winning the JOAD national Championships! She shot a new national record at 40 meters on route to a winning the national title with a score of 1266. Miles Ross competed as well in the event and finished 8th in the FITA and 4th in the Olympic round portion of the competition. Click here for full results

California State Indoor Championships January 2004

California State Outdoor Championships Long Beach Ca, May 22-23 2004

The Nevada County Gold Archery Team has a new state champion! Colin Winter of Grass Valley took the gold medal in the California State Outdoor Championships held in Long Beach on May 22-23 2004. Colin shot in the super competitive Cub (age 14 and under), male, recurve division and had a final score of 1283. The Gold team also took home two Silver medals. Miles Ross of Nevada City, competing in the Cadet (age 16 and under), male, compound division, took home a silver medal and broke the state record for shooting at 50 meters by scoring a 330 at that distance. (The previous record, also set by Ross, was 322.)

Trelaina Borges of Penn Valley took silver in the Cadet, female, recurve division. Winning a Bronze medal was Ben Mora of Nevada City, shooting in the cadet, male, compound division.
