Archery Summary

I began shooting archery in early 2003 and have been competing since late 2003.  My primary coach is NAA and NFAA coach Charley Washburn.  As a beginner archer, I trained with Bob Romero in a week long camp that my archery team put on. I have trained with Women’s Olympic Team Coach, Sheri Rhodes.  I have also trained as a short term Resident Athlete with Larry Skinner in 2005, and Kisik Lee in 2007, at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista.  In May 2005 I achieved a JOAD Olympian ranking qualifying score at 70 meters.  One week later I achieved the JOAD Silver Olympian ranking qualifying score, also at 70m.  In 2005 I won six State Championships, four National Championships, broke all of the state indoor and outdoor records and set four national records. An injury kept me from competing during most of 2006. In 2007 I continued to struggle with the injury, but I still competed. Making the 2008 Jr. USAT Team was the major goal that I achieved.
