Archery (primarily Olympic but also Compound and longbow), Coaching Archery, Automotive Technology, Airbrush Painting, Reading, H2O Volleyball, Weight Lifting.

Goals

Achieve Gold Olympian JOAD classification before I age out of JOAD at the end of 2008.  Become an NAA Level II archery coach.  I hope to make a spot on Junior USAT and USAT and I would like to someday represent the US in international competition.  Continue to enjoy and shoot archery into the future.

Career

I am currently enrolled in the Advanced Automotive Technologies ROP program and cars will play a major part in my future! 

Archery Resume

I'm told I began making my own bows and arrows around age three, but it was nine years before I eventually had the opportunity to shoot archery when I joined the JOAD of Nevada County in May 2002.  My primary coach is Charley Washburn, but I have also received instruction from Rusty Mills, Steve Ruis, Claudia Stevenson, Bob Romero and Olympic Team Coach, Tom Green.  I began competing a few months after taking up the sport, and I won my first CA State Championship just two years later.  In 2005 I achieved an indoor Silver Olympian JOAD classification award with my recurve and shortly afterwards I had the opportunity to shoot a compound bow.  A few months later I shot an indoor Olympian score with my compound.  I have returned to shooting recurve and just recently shot an outdoor Olympian score, but I still enjoy shooting my compound bow whenever I have the opportunity. In 2006 I became an NAA Level I Archery Instructor and I am continuing to train and compete both locally and nationally.
