Interests & Hobbies

Archery and board sports including skateboarding, wakeboarding and snowboarding, fishing, drawing, basketball and music.  In the Fall of 2008, I enrolled in the 49er ROP Fire Science Program and have been training to become a fire fighter.

Archery Goals

Up until October 2007, I shot an Olympic Style recurve bow in mostly FITA tournaments.  In 2008, I began shooting a compound bow in competitions.  Besides FITA tournaments, I would like to compete in more 3D tournaments and maybe even try Field Archery.  I would like to become a Level 2 coach.

Archery Resume

I received my first bow (a little fiberglass recurve!) when I was 6 years old and I started shooting in the backyard with my Dad.  In the summers of 2003 and 2004, I shot a compound bow in a summertime JOAD program with Claudia Stevenson.  I joined the Nevada County GOLD Team and began shooting a recurve bow in FITA and other styles of competition in January 2005.  Charley Washburn has been my primary coach.  I have also received coaching from Steve Ruis, Sheri Rhodes and Rusty Mills.
